PAYMENTS-Cancellation and Refunds
- Deposits of $400 or $250 per person are due at the time of tour reservation with Independent Tourist
- Balances are due 45 days before the tour
If you give notice of cancellation:
- At least 30 days in advance of the tour start date – we will refund all amounts paid less $50 per person.
- 15 to 30 days notice – We will refund 50% of amounts paid.
- Less than 15 days notice – No Refund.
- Refunds will be made to the original credit card used for payment — or directly by check from the Independent Tourist.
- The Independent Tourist must receive written notice by e-mail or regular mail no later than the above deadlines to apply proper credit to your account. Please contact us as soon as possible to assure the best outcome.
Cancellation by the Independent Tourist, LLC
We never expect to cancel a tour; however, certain unforeseen events beyond our control could occur making it impossible to fulfill your reserved tour. In this unlikely event, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid by you to the Independent Tourist for the cancelled tour (including the tour deposit). The Independent Tourist, LLC shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by you, such as airline, hotel or travel costs required to reach your tour starting point.
