This is a day to travel to PEI, flying or driving. An overnight stay in Charlottetown is included on Day 1.
Day 2-Cycling begins Charlottetown to St. Peter’s Bay 58 km
Start cycling today – leave luggage behind with your innkeeper and connect with the Confederation Trail about 1 km from your Charlottetown inn. After 8 km you will follow the main east – west trail along the Hillsborough River to St. Peter’s Bay and your overnight destination.
Day 3-St. Peter’s to Souris 36 km
Today’s route takes you to a spur trail leading into the port city of Souris for the next overnight stay. Optional quiet but hilly roads are available for variety in your ride or you can use the Trail entirely.
Day 4-Second night in Souris (0 to 50 km / optional)
Your option today is round trip cycling to the East Point Lighthouse or just take the day off. You can use the Confederation Trail one way to the lighthouse and a lovely coastal road on the return to your second night in Souris.
Day 5-Souris to Montague 55 km
Cycle today on a mix of quiet country roads and Confederation Trail to a country inn near Montague.
Day 6-Montague to Charlottetown 44 km
